Soprano Vivianna Giannaki-Delenda, resident in Paris, performed at Brest’s School of Fine Arts, as part of her collaboration with the Dutch music group MECANO, during an event organised under the aegis of the French Ministry of Culture.
She also performed, as an invited artist, in the opening of a retrospective by the important performance artist Frank Uwe Laysiepen, aka Ulay, recently organized at the Booze Cooperativa art space in Athens, in collaboration with the Goethe Institute. Moreover, in October 2008, Vivianna presented a recital within the framework of a tribute to Maria Callas, held under the aegis of the French bank Crédit Mutuel.
She recently participated in a similar tribute to Callas in Elounda, Crete, and presented a recital of arias at the Athens Stock Exchange to an audience consisting of the presidents of the European Stock Exchanges. Vivianna also works as an educator and animator for groups supporting detoxification programmes.
